Biome is uniquely situated to take advantage of provincial regulatory differences because the company operates in under-served provinces in Atlantic Canada and has established strong local brands.

Malik thinks this provincial branding strategy positions Biome for success versus the industry’s big players when supply and demand stabilizes in 2020. Biome intends to do the majority of its sales overseas in the next two or three years as more and more countries come online in 2019 and beyond.
